A lover of all things bold and beautiful, Megan brings her stylistic expertise to a variety of platforms, including fashion shows, weddings, photoshoots, and private events. During her 14+ years as a professional cosmetologist, she has honed her hair and makeup skills through continued education in advanced color techniques, progressive color methods, and varied hair extension processes, all while continually developing her own unique style and specialties. Throughout her career, she has had the honor of working with international design brands, models at LA Fashion Week, and countless beautiful brides.
Megan’s professional journey began in 2003, when she began her technical training in hair and makeup artistry at Artistic Beauty College in Scottsdale, AZ. During her education she established connections with local modeling agencies, collaborating with them for events and providing hair and makeup services. After her certification, Dambrosio offered her a twelve-month apprenticeship, but she quickly proved her competence and was awarded her own chair at the salon before the year was over.
Her artistic journey truly began a decade earlier, at a San Francisco opera in 1993. Her uncle, a world-renowned tenor, played a leading role, but eight-year-old Megan was focused elsewhere, transfixed by the vivid makeup and elaborate hairstyles of the performers. Since then, her passion for the electric energy of the beauty industry has only grown, and she loves working behind-the-scenes to bring beauty to “the stage” - whether it’s a runway, a party, or a wedding celebration.
Megan thrives on the intensity of weddings and fashion events, bringing focused clarity and a zen-like focus to her work. A style connoisseur and expert colorist, her creativity flourishes in the diverse environments she works in, and she loves finding inspiration for her craft in a million places - from the high fashion of LA runways to the radiant beauty of a bride on her wedding day.
Although Megan’s passion for artistry and excellence runs deep, at the core, she simply loves to make people feel beautiful. In her own words, “I’m happiest when I’m making people feel pretty. Like, Victoria’s-Secret-model pretty.”
